On September 2 during the Symposium in Pesticide Chemistry 2019, some in the community of users and maintainers of the European Commission FOCUS (FOrum for the Co-ordination of pesticide fate models and their Use) tools (see https://esdac.jrc.ec.europa.eu/projects/focus-dg-sante) are meeting to have an informal open discussion on experience in the use and maintenance of these tools that are used for regulatory exposure assessments. The meeting’s aim is to get feedback to optimise the activities of the DG SANTE FOCUS version control working group and discuss how the provision of agreed versions of computer modelling tools that would be used for regulatory purposes of plant protection products, might be organised going forward.
